A night at the movies

We went to see Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian last night. Troy had to stay at the deli and get the laptop set up to run the store tomorrow since the usual computer/register acquired 5 trojan horses and died. He couldn't open the store and dealt with that all day. I went in after church and helped for a bit, but it was really more of a one person job so I left. Two people trying to fix a broken computer usually equals a fight around here...

I called and found out that Night at the Museum was playing here at the lake. I thought the message said that it was playing in Kings Beach. So my Mom and I packed the kids up after stopping by the deli for some sandwiches and snacks. We got to the Kings Beach theatre and it was closed, doors locked, lights out. There was a big sign that showed that Night at the Museum was playing in Tahoe City. Oops! We got back in the car and headed to Tahoe City, only now we were definitely going to be late. We managed to get there in the very beginning of the movie and only missed a little bit. Oh well, these things happen...

The movie was great! My Mom and I sat on the ends of Noah and Ashton and Dillon walked between us for most of the movie. He watched a little and laughed a lot. He also loved popcorn and if he couldn't find who had the bag, he would just start picking it up off the floor. YUCK!

The Thinker.

"I'm thinking... I'm thinking.. I'm thinkinggg...."

Check it out! FIRE POWER!

Ivan the Terrible, no the Awesome. Einstein bobble heads, monkeys', singing Jonas Brothers as cupids, giant poodle balloons! Darn funny I tell you. Especially when you're sitting with Noah and Ashton next to you.

Lincoln FREEZE!"Okay. Enough enough.

The movie really was funny and the best part was I got to see it reenacted all night when we got home. Complete with a naked Noah after his bath being the thinker and showing me his gun show and "FIRE POWER". These are the times I really love being a mom to boys, no girl would ever do that...
